Beer, coffee, sighing

I look at my coffee
I look at the beer
I look at my coffee
I look at the beer
I sigh longingly
I look at the nice man’s hat
Sigh again

Can be. Doesn’t have to, but can exist in a state which one might call cultured. And it’s got a rich history – something that is hard to remember given the current popular beer scene.
This is a battle I’ve been fighting for a while, waged less so against the wine drinking type, but almost exclusively against the yellow fizzy-stuff drinking sort.
In the end, I know I’m on the winning side if only because I have the great Jay Brooks on my side. And he’s packing the big guns, my favorite guns, the Beer in Art guns. Hell, he even has beer poetry.
Well, Mr. Brooks, so do I.
