In reference to my previous post: it appears that, while Americans may have lost the privilege of saying “tipples,” we did dodge quite a bullet.

And I’m not talking about Swayze. No sensual pottery lessons needed.

2. A friendly reminder that we could have been saying “tipples” all these years. “Tipple” really has no place in an American’s vocabulary, so I ask: at what price did our independence come? Think about that when you’re throwing around you’re redneck vernacular this fourth of July.
